Renault was a French cycling team that was founded in the 1970s and disbanded in 1985. With Renault as sponsor, the team was the successor of the merger team Gitane-Campagnolo (founded 1975 as the merger between Sonolor-Lejeune (founded 1969) and Gitan -Frigécreme) with Cyrille Guimard as sports director. When Renault left the cycling team in 1985, the name changed to Système U.
