Short bio Mercier Hutchinson

Mercier was a French cycling team that was active from 1935 to the 1980s and rode with various sub-sponsors. All those years, the team rode Mercier racing bikes. Cycles Mercier was the team's main sponsor from 1935 to the end of the 1960s. From 1946, the team rode in purple cycling jerseys. In 1950, the shirt took on its signature shape with a yellow band at the neck and cuff lining. This would continue through the late 1960s, when Mercier was no longer the main sponsor. From 1935 through 1955, the team had a second sponsor named Hutchinson and was known as "Mercier-Hutchinson".
